First of all, the staff were really great especially the two receptionists Liliana & Sabrina. They were very helpful and ready to assist in every situation. The room was spacious, very clean and we had a wonderful view of the sea and the mountains. I would recommend this hotel to everyone and its only 5-7 minutes away from the cable car which in 2 minutes time takes you to the historic centre of Taormina.
The only think I would mention is that you can hear the flashing of your next door while being used however it didn't bother us at all.

Staff friendliness, excellent service
Walking to the cable car to get into town involves walking on a very narrow strip alongside the main road where drivers speed up and cut corners easily, if one is not careful the trip may very be the last one ever. Bottom line: be very careful, pack a bicyclist's red clip-on light or reflection strips to put on your clothes. There is a curve with a bit of a blind spot right next of the hotel that drivers love to pass at 100+ km/h, so watch out for cars approaching and also listen when you cannot see them (behind the curve). Inhaling diesel fumes from cars on the road also adds up to the experience, although besides the road the air is amazingly clean.

It's a wonderful place to stay. Super friendly staff and great views. It has been a great start to our Sicilian holiday!
The train roaring through the property was startling at 5 am :-) Be careful walking up the road to the cable car... It's an adventure! None of this detracted from our stay here. I would recommend this hotel.

The hotel right on the beach and is a short walk to the cable car that takes you to the street with all the shops and restaurants in Taormina. Overall, the hotel is clean with the rooms having lots of space. The staff is helpful and was fluent in English. Parking is easy. The hotel has its own parking which they charge E5/night or you can park in the street in front of the hotel. We parked in the street as the hotel parking was full. I would recommend driving down the driveway to the front of the hotel, dropping off your bags, then parking on the street. Also, liked the free internet in the lobby.
Even though the hotel is conveniently located to the cable car and the beach. The solarium is an old wood platform with torn up plastic turf. The beach that the wood deck goes to is nice but not nearly as nice as the other beaches we went to in taormina. The beach was small and much rockier than the other beaches. Just a note on taormina beachs. You need to have water shoes as there are no sand beachs in taormina only pebble beaches. Also, the breakfast was a bit weak at this hotel (no eggs in the morning). Breakfast wasn't that good anywhere in Sicily but off all the hotels we stayed at during our trip this one did not match the other hotels. Also, while the rooms were clean, we had a lot of ants in our room. They took care of the ants with a poison powder but a lot of the powder got left in the grout, etc after they swept it up. Finally, the walk to the cable car along the street especially at night is very scary due to cars driving by. There are no sidewalks. My toes almost got ran over by a tire of a car that was pulling into a driveway (and I was being careful). The problem isn't with the locals it is with the tourists that don't know how to drive there (me included). After doing the walk twice, we were done with it and didn't want to do it anymore, too dangerous.

Assolutamente consigliato!

Garden
Locked gate access to a rough rocky coast and not amenable to swimming. My wife was furious at the long dangerous walk to and from the cable car, which becomes expensive and time consuming. There are no facilities on site, so you will need to take the long journey into town. About 20 minutes walk to cable car; Waiting and taking the cable car; And 15 minutes walk into town.

Florence
The room was bright and the breakfast was satisfactory; the location was great and wonderful, just a short 10-15 minute walk from Scoglio dello Zio Gennaro.

The view of the beach. Listening to the sounds of the sea while we slept. Friendly staff, very helpful. Easy access to the beach. Close to the cable car to get into the town. Clean and comfortable hotel. Good red wine in the mini bar. And overall excellent value for money! I would stay here again!
Arriving late at night and we were hungry, it would have been nice to have some bar snacks in the mini bar.
